The Lady Diane she has very bad attitude, when I walk in she told me wait behind the line so rude, also when I went to the desk she only asked me if I had an appointment and I responded no, and she gave me a paper how make appointment. The reason that I was there was because my DL is not been delivered and I went to asked if they can track of course I don’t need appointment for simple question she is very rude the people there need to be more friendly and also I asked the manager for a complaint sheet but loos like they don’t care. Bad experience I prefer go to Mission location they are awesome.
Also the building is do dirty and sneers bad .
A gaggle of 9 to 5 professional bullies. I drove an hour to come in for a driving record that doesn’t contain my credentials or history as a licensed driver.
When I tried to ask about why I was ganged up on by multiple staff members and a manager when I asked about why my previous motor vehicle credentials were not on the record.
Is this not the dmv? Do they not issue permits? Licenses? They’re the literal department of motor vehicles who issued the permits/licenses to me. There’s no record of that? Doubt it! Why do I need to go drivers solutions for my driving record? That makes ZERO sense. Surely, the DMV of Kansas has this information.
But still they kept insisting, that they did not have this information, and that printing a record that lists an ID card I got was all they could muster up the energy to do and insisted over and over I get in touch with drivers solutions.
Rather than doing their job that required a bit more than downloading a record the manager stepped into to gaslight me into believing that it doesn’t make sense that I have been driving since beginning the process at 13 with a permit and graduating to a license. Fact check: In Kansas at 14, you can drive anywhere with an adult, 15 you can go to work and school on your own, 15 you get to have one passenger and can go anywhere from 5 to 9, and 17 is unrestricted. And shocker: if you’re turning 14 in the same calendar year which I did, you can begin this process at 13! 🫨Which is what I literally did. It was my actual factual lived experience. And it DOES make sense. Contrary to what the manager tried to make it sound like to her staff to recruit others into ridiculing me for. (I’ve been doing this for X years and have neverrrr she said) 😂
I was simply asking why the record I requested had the most recent credential as an ‘identification card’ as my LAST update when I know for a FACT I’ve held a license in Kansas was inquiring as to why it was NOT listed on there as part of my RECORD. Again, what the heck is the point of obtaining a driving record if the credentials you held such as a license is not listed on there! (I needed to show that I’ve held a license and not just an identification card 🤯 shocking!)
How could I have a conviction or a drivers suspension or infraction WITHOUT a record of a license? It didn’t make any sense if I just had an identification card. How could they suspend my license if I never had one? Again it didn’t make sense and why I was asking why it was so.
If the staff were knowledgeable they could have explained the information that they had - and should know - is that on driving records the credential type is SIMPLY the LAST UPDATE that you’ve had, and that the credential number ITSELF has your complete driving history such as a previous held licenses etc. Which I argue should be printed on your driving record when you pay for one, DUH.
So although the last type you may have had is an identification card, your credential number still has the complete record for the purposes of requesting your driving record history.
They should all be fired for their gross incompetence, useless referrals and combative customer service.
NEXT!
My goodness. Can the lady in the front desk be any more rude?. Dianne I think was her name. I normally go to the location on Johnson Dr, I should’ve never gone to 18th st.
I scheduled my appointment. My wait time was approximately 15 minutes. The clerk was very personable. In and out with no problem.
Busy asexpected ,however the sevice was good and professional. I was happy with my experience here.
The office is clean and spacious. The lady I spoke with answered all my questions and gave me numbers for the ones she couldn't answer. Very polite
Each receptionist does things their own way and they won’t even let you explain your situation. Came friday 09-08 around 4 pm because I never got my DL in the mail and the paper copy was about to expire, so she told me to come back Monday because I needed proof of residence and my work card. I come Monday and the lady present ( a different one) tells me I don’t need none of that to re-issue. Made me lose a day of work because of this, only if the lady would have let me speak rather than just shut me up I probably would’ve been done with this issue.
So much help. My adult son is special needs and wanted a photo ID. He was so excited to fill out all the information for himself. The ladies were so patient and helpful. Best trip to the DMV ever!!!
